Where We Work
At Global Aid HANDs (GAH), protection remains our guiding principle, integrated across all work areas. We are committed to ensuring that individuals, especially the most vulnerable, are shielded from harm, empowered to rebuild their lives, and supported in creating peaceful, resilient futures.
The true measure of a person is not in what they have, but in what they give. Through charity and volunteering, we plant seeds of kindness that grow into a better world.
Uganda (Since 2024)
Global Aid HANDs (GAH) relocated its headquarters from Sudan to Uganda following the April 15, 2023 conflict. Our focus areas include education, protection (with an emphasis on child protection and gender-based violence services), and refugee response programs across the Kiryandongo, Wakiso, and Kampala regions. We work closely with vulnerable populations to ensure that children, women, and communities access essential care and protection within safe, nurturing environments. Our refugee programs aim to support families in rebuilding their lives, fostering resilience and stability amidst challenging circumstances and offering vital protective interventions and access to essential services and economic opportunities.
Global Reach, Local Impact
Across all regions, Global Aid HANDs (GAH) works closely with local partners, communities, and stakeholders to ensure our efforts are responsive and sustainable. Our commitment to making a meaningful and lasting impact drives everything we do, from Sudan to Uganda. Together with our donors and partners, we continue to build stronger, more resilient communities that can overcome adversity and thrive.
We are proud of our differences and remain dedicated to expanding our reach, deepening our impact, and bringing hope to those who need it most.
